Known as Stainless Brass PVD (physical vapour deposit).
Process involves robotic polishing, high quality chrome plating and a gas and zirconium mixture applied in a vacuum at extreme temperature.
The end product is highly polished to a flawless finish.
Stainless Brassware meets DIN53167 - a testing process that includes over 2500 hours of salt spraying (normal brassware 96 hours) and 100 cycles of brush acid abrasion.
The total test is equivalent to 25 years performance under normal conditions - that is why Stainless Brass PVD has a unique 25 year guarantee.
The PVD process means there is no lacquer or coating present that could break down. Stainless Brass PVD is therefore impervious to oxidation, tarnishing, abrasion and will also resist acid rain, CO² emissions and airborne chemical particles and even key and jewellery surface impact.
This specialist time-consuming process creates brassware that is more expensive in the short term, but offers long term performance benefits that certainly outweigh initial costs.
Low maintenance performance - simply wipe with a soft cloth or add white spirit to remove stubborn marks.
